Description: In 2013, the Fraser Basin Council held a workshop in Fort St John, BC to facilitate learning and engage a regional network of watershed stewards and practitioners in the Peace Region. The aim of the workshop was to inspire and catalyze new work through networking and identify priorities and actions moving forward. A series of presentations were delivered to share institutional perspectives by panellists from Treaty 8 First Nations, Ministries of Agriculture and Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations, Peace River Regional District, Northern Health, and North East Oil and Gas Health Advisory Committee. Roundtable dialogues and plenary sessions followed to determine priority water issues in the region and action required to address these issues.
