Description: Pollutiontracker.org is a new pollution monitoring tool documenting levels and trends of contaminants in sediment and mussels along the coast of British Columbia. Samples were collected in partnership with First Nations, community groups, port authorities and government agencies. The site includes an interactive map to view contaminants per study area including comprehensive data and findings. Phase 1 of PollutionTracker provides a high-quality coast-wide baseline dataset while Phase 2 (expected completion in 2018) will expand spatial coverage and temporal trend analysis.
