Changing Landscapes, New Opportunities – 2017 ABCFP Annual Conference

Description: The Association of BC Forest Professionals is responsible for registering and regulating British Columbia’s professional foresters and forest technologists. The practice of professional forestry in BC has been regulated since 1947 when foresters first agreed to help protect the public’s interest in the province’s forests in return for the exclusive right to practise forestry. In 2017, they held an annual conference in Prince George, British Columbia. Changing Landscapes, New Opportunities was held over three days in February and hosted a dynamic lineup of speakers touching on topics such as managing risk, shaping the future and climate change. The following is a link to the program of this event including speakers and their presentation topics.
