Description: The Cumulative Impact Monitoring Program (CIMP) aims to achieve excellence in environmental management and stewardship through effective monitoring and assessment of cumulative impacts in the Northwest Territories. The CIMP is a requirement of the Gwich’in and Sahtu land claim agreements, and has representatives from Aboriginal, territorial, and federal governments, along with observers from other organizations.
