British Columbia Cattleman’s Association

Description:  The British Columbia Cattleman’s Association has been the official voice of cattle ranchers throughout British Columbia since 1929. Their mission is to maintain a healthy cattle industry that provides quality beef products to consumers and is guided by strong volunteer membership, environmental stewardship, respect for stakeholders, and excellent business practices. The purpose of the association is to promote, encourage, protect and develop the cattle industry in an environmentally responsible manner. They have a Research and Development Committee, tasked with providing the director and members with the latest information on current research projects, and administer the Bostock Memorial Grant, geared towards research that is of practical value to the beef industry.
