BC Regional Adaptation Collaborative Program

Description: The BC Regional Adaptation Collaborative (BC RAC) program is part of a national strategy on climate adaptation. The theme of BC RAC is “Preparing for Climate Change – Securing British Columbia’s Water Future”. The program is delivered in two phases. Phase 1 (2009-2012) focused on developing tools and resources to help leaders plan for climate adaptation, with emphasis on securing water resources and minimizing water-related risks. Phase 2 (2012-2015) builds on this work and offers support for BC’s natural resource sectors as they identify risks, common issues of concern, adaptation options and opportunities to collaborate. The website provides more information on BC RAC projects and climate adaptation resources.
